Smashwords, which about a year and a half ago was drawing eye-rolls from indie authors in the know,
has just been named #69 on Forbes list of
America's Most Promising Companies. I don't see them defeating Amazon for publishing dominance anytime soon, but I do see them as a great place to put my book and to distribute to other channels.
